Graphical algorithm editor in the browser


A few months ago a colleague of my research group – Eduardo Castro e Costa – told me WebGL was going to be the next revolution for customisation. He showed me some experiments on the web and we discuss that sooner or later someone would develop CAD tools to interact.

MatterMachine is similar to the WebGL concept, although it uses Unity game engine as a browser plugin.  It seems that Grasshopper’s visual editing approach is coming to the browser.

Although I think the normal user won’t be immersed in the code, it is a great tool for designers and hardcore DIY’ers.
